As I walk, I cross lands, which is naturally a compromise between Nature and Men, with Men trying to control it and Nature being Nature, a constant process of growing, moving and reappropriation. I feel like a guest in these territories.
Although I might not consider this Chinese trip as part of my traditional reportage practice, I am greatly grateful for this opportunity to have a glimpse of this immense land, travelling one month between Beijin, Xi'an, Chengdu, Leshan and the mountains of Zhangjiajie.
